Our Governance

Board of Trustees

The Board meets annually to assess the Center’s work and define the broad lines of its policy and its programs and monitors their implementation. It consists of permanent members and observers.

Management

The Centre has institutional capabilities that respond to effective management requirements and an organizational structure enshrining the principles of transparency, accountability and dissemination of information.

Executive, Technical and Advisory Bodies

• The Technical Committee of the Center shall define its strategic objectives and its operational orientation,
• Scientific advisory committees provide advice on issues related to the Center’s programs and activities to ensure the quality of the center’s outputs.

Staff

The programs and activities of CAWTAR are supervised by a multi-disciplinary team, with proven knowledge of problems related to women’s issues and gender in the Arab region.

CAWTAR is working in 22 Arab countries through its Arab Network for Gender and Development (ANGED) as well as in African and foreign countries.
