Call for Papers: IEA Young African Scholars Program

The next IEA World Congress will be held on June 6-10, 2014, in Amman, Jordan.

The IEA is the association of the economic associations from around the world, and is the unique international organization that brings together economists from developed and developing countries across a broad range of fields. More than 500 economists will attend this year's congress and over 400 papers will be presented in parallel academic sessions. In addition, there will be a number of policy sessions and keynote lectures.

A special session on Africa will be organized there to allow young scholars from Africa to attend and present their research. This special session aims to provide a forum for discussing innovative theoretical and empirical research on the key challenges facing Africa, and to facilitate the exchange of views among researchers and policymakers as the continent search its path towards economic emergence.
