Training Package : Gender Analysis in Project Planning
This training package is premised upon the social, economic, political and institutional context within which the planning process operates in the Arab World.
It aims to raise the awareness of planners, decision-markers and regional and international NGOs about the issues of women, gender and development, to sensitize them to the necessity to incorporate gender analysis in the planning process, and to provide them with the tools necessary for gender planning.
The package comprises three modules :
- Sensitization to women, development and gender planning issues;
- Gender planning tools;
- Institutionalization of gender analysis in project planning
