The Green and Circular Economy (GCE) offers a transformative opportunity for sustainable growth, climate resilience, and gender equality in the Mediterranean and MENA regions. Despite political commitment and international support, women remain underrepresented in the GCE due to persistent barriers such as limited access to finance, policy fragmentation, and entrenched gender norms. This policy brief synthesizes key challenges and actionable recommendations, emphasizing the critical role of regional and international cooperation—anchored in SDG 17—to foster an enabling environment for women’s entrepreneurship in the GCE across Tunisia, Morocco, and Jordan
